Nothing better than working on the river.

Odyssey does about 70-80% of their business from November through New Years Eve. Sometimes it's 4 cruises back-to-back which is absolute hell. Tables must be reconfigured for each cruise, loaded on and off the ship, chairs must be reconfigured and days can start at 7am and end at 3am.

Young atmosphere, lots of energy, nice people. Very clean and bright space to work in. Great for a first job. I did learn a great deal. They have get togethers during the summers for employees to socialize together. I enjoyed working there.

Each boss had their own rules about items, i.e. some were allowed to listen to ipods/radio while others were not. A/R is totally disorganized. Very frustrating. When I worked there, there was no work from home posibilities, even part time. Would have been nice during the bad weather.
