Pros

If you're a schmoozer and like to make locker room talk, you will do well. If you like to drink alcohol, you will do well. They like to drink, even on the job. If you want free clothes and pizza, this is the place for you. They'll buy you lunch and then make you do someone else's job too.

Cons

Don't expect a raise. Expect more work to be added to your plate without a wage increase. Was told I "like to complain" because I asked for more hours and a brand new employee got those hours when I had been there for 3 years. Super toxic older aged women in the office like to trade alcohol with the machine operator. You are looked down upon as a woman trying to fix her makeup at her desk at the end of the day. Was told I was "vain". Older men in the yard like to make inappropriate comments about female body parts. older employees think it should be taken as a compliment. HR was disrespectful, gave attitude, and rolled their eyes because I made it clear that the forklift operator was drinking on the job and dispensing homemade alcohol to other employees. co-workers will go through your personal belongings and email while you are not there to find information out about you.

Pros

Flexible enough, small and disorganized enough that they can't come down on you too hard for small stuff. Would be a decent work life balance if you didn't end up with emotional issues and anxiety spikes from essentially experiencing narc/DARVO tactics, just in a corporate group setting.

Cons

The things that leader(s) here are seemingly able to get away with in the name of leadership, the way that they talk to people and the general culture of favoritism and corporate gaslighting/punitive treatment to those who question the tactics being used here is like something out of a movie. I would caution anyone who wants their nervous system to remain intact to refrain from accepting a role here. If you do well in mean girl groups and by blindly following ruthless authoritarian politics, then go ahead and consider- you might thrive. Regardless of all that... no real room for growth/ No career mobility unless you move divisions. No "careers" here at all, at least not in marketing. if you want a paycheck and mind games, go ahead.
