1. Ancient Systems for cashing up! No cash machine to count coins, all count by hand. Why would you need to fill in the cash and chip, visa/ Mastercard payment in the form etc every day when closing? What is that for? It doesn’t make sense, I worked for so many retailers before, OB is defo the most out of dated , even the bank bags has so many to fill in, do you know we work really hard to do the sales, why can’t HR and CEO to do something in return to make our work easier and happier?
2. Underpaid , keep asking you to hit target but not giving you enough pay? 40 hours for full-time is literally unpaid. You always ended up working extra time without getting extra paid. They say the competitive Bonas in the contract but it was not, it’s a lie!
3. Management keeps changing, there are so many management people leaving, it makes supervisor and ASM have to do extra work without getting promoted or extra pay, ofc people want to leave.
4. Open early and close late. Not work life balance while support office people work 4 days a week they don’t working on every Wednesdays, how lucky ! My previous full-time retail job was all 37.5 hours contract and one hour unpaid break and with 20 mins paid tea break.
