Good company - Security Officer Oltec Group Employee Review

I see a hell of a lot of bad and negative comments about the Oltec group however I worked there for 3years and had no issues. Yes pay was lower than some companies yes sometimes guards were messed around with 0 hour contracts, but I found the hard working guards who cared about their jobs and came to make a difference not just steal a living a moan about it actually enjoyed the company. I moved on to another company and although I am happy in my new role I would have no hesitation in going back to the company in a management position and trying to change the negative image the company has because of disgruntled lazy unqualified ex employees.

The same with all security companies the nature of the beats is long ours work which may not be 100% yours to do and a feeling of being unappreciated but if you put in the effort and graft to ensure the client receives the best possible value for their money it is a decent friendly company.

The pros for me working at Oltec fm are location and the amazing staff whom I work with at Head Office. The environment in head office is busy but relaxed and all the staff get on well with each other, we all pull together, help each other out and get the work done - our open office upstairs in particular is like a very large happy family :-)

I can't really think of any cons on my part, our CEO is firm but very fair... there is nothing he won't do for his staff, if you have a problem you can always go and see him and he will always go out of his way to help.
