Pros

Working on a challenging, high-impact problem, universal alignment around the company goals (helping people lose weight and reduce the risk of chronic disease), lots of autonomy and empowerment to do great work, delicious and healthy lunch and snacks.

Cons

Still a startup in it's adolescence, not a strong medium-to-long term product vision, teams can be siloed, no formal training or mentorship.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review on Glassdoor! I’m really glad you feel Omadans’ alignment around our mission; we are all lucky to be impacting people’s lives by helping them live free of chronic disease. Additionally, I’m happy to hear that your work feels challenging and impactful, and that you have the tools to do it well. There are always opportunities to improve, and I agree that communicating our product vision more broadly across the company, bettering cross-team collaboration and creating a more formalized training program will help us in the long run. We’ve created a cross-team collaboration task force to create more opportunities for Omadans to connect, and engagement surveys to keep us in check. Furthermore, our next review cycle will focus on development, ensuring that managers knows their direct reports’ long-term career goals so they can work toward reaching them together. If you have other ideas, I’d love to hear them. Thanks again for your feedback; it helps make Omada a better place!

Pros

Lots of smart people, great mission, digital health company that's balancing clinical evidence with tech growth.

Cons

Less of a con, more of a heads up to make sure your role is truly valued during the interview process. Try to gauge how much cross-functional buy-in is needed for you to have impact. As with most startups, layoffs happen and if you're struggling to get projects started because there's no internal support, your role is at risk.
