Pros

Flexible schedule Remote work Ok benefits

Cons

Consistently low pay for coaches No job stability We were once salaried but they took that away and made us hourly so they could pay less Lousy PTO Inexperienced “supervisors” who have no idea what they are doing It’s not what your credentials are its who you know Having a masters degree earns no more than just a bachelor’s degree Inconsistent hours only communicated 5 days prior to Promise of full time work but don’t get it because they over hire every year Expect 50 hours of work to be done in 35 hours Leadership knows of the discourse among coaches but doesn’t care because they make a six figure salary No job growth possible Leadership tells coaches we are the most important part of the company but doesn’t back that up with pay Continue to expect more work for less pay Raises are a joke even with excellent performance reviews

Pros

Lots of smart people, great mission, digital health company that's balancing clinical evidence with tech growth.

Cons

Less of a con, more of a heads up to make sure your role is truly valued during the interview process. Try to gauge how much cross-functional buy-in is needed for you to have impact. As with most startups, layoffs happen and if you're struggling to get projects started because there's no internal support, your role is at risk.
