•Even with structured avenue for feedback from field service engineers to service leadership, constructive feedback from the field was often ignored.
•Performance review and merit raise process was disorganized or neglected entirely
•Some internal voices (no longer active in the field) created confusion or misrepresented current service realities
•Leadership, sometimes out of touch with the demands and challenges of the FSE role
•Though there are periods of significant down time. Travel expectations could be intense and poorly scheduled without much regard for work-life balance.
