Pros
Omicron is in an active year of transformation. The focus is on scaling the business, evolving how it runs, and getting clearer on accountability and performance standards. It’s a genuine build phase, with both momentum and pressure that comes with change.
Pros:
- Clear appetite for improvement and a willingness to invest in learning & development and better ways of working.
- Real opportunity to shape processes and influence how things are done, rather than defaulting to the status quo.
- A hardworking, committed team that shows up and cares about doing good work for our clients, communities, and each other.
Cons
Transformation brings pressure and some parts of the business are more aligned than others at this moment for change.
Cons:
- Currently, we have a full in-office work model, which may not suit everyone. There is flexibility to WFH if you have a medical appointment, etc. but there isn't a permanent hybrid schedule. I appreciate the flexibility, but would love to see the business provide 1 WFH day per week in the future.
- Like many companies, priorities can shift and capacity can be stretched. This is just the reality and isn't unique to Omicron, other orgs and industries are feeling this too.
- Communication and transparency from executives can be improved.
