Pros

Was a fast paced, mission driven company with a great culture and talented people. Many of those people have left and the culture has deteriorated.

Cons

Constant restructuring has raised concerns among employees regarding job stability. The departure of long-term executives and senior leaders is particularly disconcerting. The HR/Recruiting function is a mess. Newly appointed leaders seem to prioritize hiring and retaining acquaintances over the development and motivation of existing team members, contributing to low morale and siloed work environments.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your experience at Omnicell. We truly value your feedback as it assists us in our continuous journey of improvement and evolution. We're heartened to hear your positive remarks about our fast-paced, mission-driven culture and the talented individuals contributing to our team. However, we understand and empathize with your concerns regarding the recent restructuring and changes in leadership. Change can be challenging, especially in the context of our transformation from a primarily cabinet-based company to a more service-oriented model. This significant shift has necessitated changes we strive to manage as smoothly as possible for everyone involved. Regarding your observations about the HR/Recruiting function, it's essential to hear your perspective. Our transformation involves moving from a reactive recruitment approach to a more strategic talent advising model. This shift is crucial for enhancing our recruitment process and supporting the career development and growth of our existing team members. We aim to nurture our internal talent while welcoming diverse perspectives from external sources. Your point about the prioritization of hiring acquaintances over the development of current team members is alarming. We are committed to maintaining a transparent and equitable approach in all our talent management practices. Rest assured, we take such feedback seriously. We will investigate these concerns to ensure our policies and practices align with our core values of fairness and employee respect. We appreciate your input on these crucial issues. Please know that we are committed to creating a positive, collaborative, and fulfilling work environment for all our team members amidst the transformative changes we are undergoing. Your feedback is invaluable in this journey. Thank you again for your review, and feel free to connect with me directly if you are interested in discussing. Pros

Worked for them for 7 1/2 years until after COVID, and no one came back to the office. Only 4 people remained in the office, shipping, and IT. After the owners sold them the building, Omnicell canceled the lease and was told that the lease would end in August 2022. I saw it coming after COVID, and no one was in the building. No offer to find other positions in the company. They do cuts all the time when stock prices go down, which is a sign of trouble ahead. Bad MGMT to many Top Dogs

Cons

I'm overworked and underpaid, and I plan to work off the clock at times.
