Pros

I've worked at small start-ups before, and I've worked at large companies. There are pros and cons to both - I truly feel Omnidian has the pros of both a start-up company (creativity, huge growth potential, getting to know coworkers and execs) and has established a great base for scaling into a successful large company one day. The culture here is really incredible. Management is transparent with decision making, invests in their employees, and trusts them. At any growth stage company, the leanness comes with a lot of work. You will be pushed and stretched into some ambiguity - but the skills and learning acquired during this time is worth it. The people here are passionate. I've never met a group of more talented people who not only bring ideas to the table but continue to take action on them and hold themselves and each other accountable. They are actively making the world a better place; not just in clean energy but holistically in the workplace and in their communities. Intersectionality is a complicated but necessary framework for all aspects of business (and life) and I see daily strides being made for a more inclusive and intersectional workplace.

Cons

I don't have any cons right now. This is a growth stage company and no one rests on their laurels. But the work is meaningful and the employees are invested in the success.

Pros

Hands down the best high growth startup culture you can find. One that prioritizes work/life balance while trying to continue to push the envelope on innovation.

Cons

Just maybe sometimes you can't have just great culture and balance, and yet meet rapid deadlines? So far though I have been impressed with how these haven't been intuitively linked!

Pros

- Culture is Great - Most coworkers are approachable and awesome - Fully remote work

Cons

Over the last six months, the company culture and day-to-day experience have changed significantly, and depending on the team, it has become increasingly challenging. Workloads have continued to grow, leading to faster burnout and unrealistic performance expectations. New leadership has been brought into the organization without strong industry-specific experience, which has created concerns around decision-making and overall direction. My team often feels stretched too thin, with constantly shifting priorities and metrics that can feel impossible to meet. There is very little recognition for the work being done, which becomes discouraging over time. It often feels like everything is treated as urgent, making it difficult to focus on what truly matters and creating a constant sense of pressure. Compensation is also a major concern. There seems to be a broad understanding across teams that pay is below market compared to competitors in the same industry. When raises are minimal or infrequent such as only receiving one raise in two years it naturally makes employees question their long-term future with the company.
