Pros

Intelligent and caring coworkers that are involved in hiring their peers and creating a desirable work environment. Aspirational and inspiring cultural goals are what make Omnidian stand out. Greentech Start-up with decent funding. Remote work is encouraged and flexible scheduling is possible, but (see cons)

Cons

Almost zero resiliency, if you're out of the office you come back to a soul-crushing pile of work. The work-life balance gets less and less, the closer you get to Operations, folks in Operations either quit or move to different teams to avoid burnout. Most of the woes at Omnidian are due to understaffing and people wearing too many hats. Compensation is somewhat attractive for Entry Level roles, but not at all competitive for employees with 3+ years of experience. Strong level of salary anchoring when you're looking for internal promotions. Option packages are not incentivizing tenure at all, small option volume and inequitable distribution within the team.

Pros

Hands down the best high growth startup culture you can find. One that prioritizes work/life balance while trying to continue to push the envelope on innovation.

Cons

Just maybe sometimes you can't have just great culture and balance, and yet meet rapid deadlines? So far though I have been impressed with how these haven't been intuitively linked!

Pros

- Culture is Great - Most coworkers are approachable and awesome - Fully remote work

Cons

Over the last six months, the company culture and day-to-day experience have changed significantly, and depending on the team, it has become increasingly challenging. Workloads have continued to grow, leading to faster burnout and unrealistic performance expectations. New leadership has been brought into the organization without strong industry-specific experience, which has created concerns around decision-making and overall direction. My team often feels stretched too thin, with constantly shifting priorities and metrics that can feel impossible to meet. There is very little recognition for the work being done, which becomes discouraging over time. It often feels like everything is treated as urgent, making it difficult to focus on what truly matters and creating a constant sense of pressure. Compensation is also a major concern. There seems to be a broad understanding across teams that pay is below market compared to competitors in the same industry. When raises are minimal or infrequent such as only receiving one raise in two years it naturally makes employees question their long-term future with the company.
