Pros

Leaving work at the end of the day.

Cons

Having to go back on the next day. Or dealing with Senior management. The project/resource managers are clueless and need to know all the time what everyone is doing. The development framework is a bug on its own. Just useless.

Thank you for your review, and we are sad to see that it is so negative. We have our Project Management team to ensure that we are delivering the best possible service to our clients and keeping in regular contact with them, leaving our Development Teams free to do what they love and what they do best. The more the Project Management team can learn upfront, the less impact they will have on the Development Teams – this may explain why you have the view they ‘need to know’ what people are doing? If you have suggestions on how we can approach this better, please feel free to let us know through the anonymous suggestion box that all employees have access to. As always, we will consider it and will feed back our views. Our development framework is a result of many years of refinement, with design and input from our Developers and Technical Architects. Again, please feedback the issues through the anonymous suggestion box so we can understand what this “bug” is, to which you refer. With reference to the piano-playing – this has been done by the CEO in response to the current Covid-19 Pandemic as a way to try to lift people’s spirits in these difficult times. He has sacrificed many hours of his own time for the benefit of others. I believe most people have appreciated this and enjoy it for what it is there for. If you personally do not enjoy this, then we do have all of the other social events that you can take your pick from.

Pros

Most of my colleagues were nice and did gave a helping hand when needed. They pay on time. Work from home. 5* for inclusion and diversity 3* for work / life balance

Cons

Reading the last reviews here made me want to register and post a review myself, since they're all lies. Employees are usually unhappy here and it can be noticed judging by the quality of their work. Employees are usually ignored by their line manager. (both developers and QA) The anonymous feedback they replied with in one of the latest post is a joke that is being ignored. They don't address any of the issues the company is having in the monthly company meeting. Most of their QAs have left for similar reasons. We were usually assigned to more than 3 projects. Projects lack documentation. Devs and QAs are asked to handle scrum master/solutions architect tasks - writing acceptance criteria, link items from a board to another, assign and estimate tasks. There is little to no chance of getting a raise or a bonus at this company. I'm surprised how they still have clients, some of them did take a step back and took their business somewhere else.

We have been honing our processes and approaches over decades of working in the industry, and that process never ends. We will continue to review our processes and approaches to our software development cycle. We dispute your comment that the leadership does not listen to or address the issues raised by the team – many of the fantastic changes we have made to the business over the years has come as a direct response to feedback or suggestions raised by our wonderful team-mates. We review our salaries at least annually throughout all of the countries we operate in and we pay above average.
