Pros

Summer Friday’s. SOME good people to meet. Glassdoor wants at least twenty words here but I only had seven. Twenty words.

Cons

They can’t make a decision about a damn little drawstring detail on a pair of $2 pants. They have so much more potential and can be making so much more money but they just stick to the same stuff every season because they can’t make simple decisions. You have to fight to get your unpaid hour lunch break. They tell you the hours are 9-530 but it’s really 9-6. No organization. Catty, high school bullsh*t. No one works together, which this is what the business is about. Nepotism, nepotism, nepotism. Everyone is about power and exerting that power over anyone they can. They are all snakes. Don’t trust anyone! The one boss is so abusive, she verbally abuses you. I have been called stupid to my face AND behind my back for no reason (it’s a cubicle everyone hears everything) and she micromanages causing more problems then there should be because she doesn’t trust anyone and over explains things. This is just a place to get your foot in the door. Be prepared to be a doormat. It’s a shame because there are a few really good people that work in that department.

Pros

I am a manger at one step up. I have been here over 17 years I've been reading SOME of the reviews, I find them extremely inaccurate and seems they are from former disgruntled employees. I also think the only people that write these reviews ARE FORMER EMPLOYEES (. Because there are so many divisions at one step up there is a lot of opportunity for growth as I began here as a sales and administrative assistant and I now manage a large division. Hands on CEO. 401K - with employer contribution INSURANCE 6 sick/personal days 2 weeks vacation after one year of employment (1 week 1st year)

Cons

Large company so there is red tape to navigate through as with other large companies

Pros

Great company to work at if you’re beginning your career as you may wear several different hats to help you gain experience.

Cons

The company does not take good care of their employees. Health and benefits could use some work. Benefits in particular are extremely dated.
