Pros

Sometimes you can actually find a parking spot.

Cons

I was told a huge lie when they hired me about how they valued a friendly, supportive work environment and that they took real good care of their people. REALITY: My boss took 4 to 5 'lunchbreaks' a day, and would leave the entire department to be run by severely incompetent people. Several higher ups were very disrespectful and mean to employees, yet despite receiving complaints on a regular basis from many workers there, it was always swept under the rug. Blatantly. Talking to people who have been here for years confirms it has always been this way. There is a large number of people here who are family related and they simply are not held to the same standards as their fellow employees. Period. A LOT of childish politics. It was very common for people to talk behind each others backs and there is just sooo much passive aggressive behavior. The poor people who have worked here for over 5 years don't even realize they act this way. If this wasn't bad enough- they use broken unreliable equipment and the old school paper method for just about everything. Stuff breaks all the time and YOU will be the one who takes heat for a poorly designed system. Yes, this is one of THOSE jobs. It's not worth your time, trust me. Leaving this company was a major improvement in my life.

Pros

Meaningful work supporting hospice patients with compassionate, urgent care. Opportunity to make a real difference in end-of-life comfort and symptom management. Some dedicated colleagues who care deeply about patients.

Cons

Extremely high leadership turnover: 3 different Pharmacists-in-Charge in the last 6–8 months, leading to constant shifts in expectations, inconsistent enforcement of policies, and added daily stress. Shared-facility setup with another brand creates workflow inefficiencies (e.g., overcrowded storage increasing error risk) and frequent escalations of minor, quickly resolved discrepancies that are disproportionate to the actual risk. Cultural and operational mismatch between brands results in territorial dynamics and unnecessary tension. Overall environment feels unstable and high-stress, with limited flexibility for patient-priority tasks.
