Pros

Work is reviewed very first. The editors and internal reviewers are fair. They pay better than many other writing companies The forum is great, and you can get a lot of help on how to complete certain writing tasks.

Cons

OneSpace (formerly crowdsource) dropped/lost a major client a few days ago. The Q&As were a major source of income for me, and now they are gone. There is little to no work on the site, and a lot of people are moving away in search of better opportunities. I loved this site, and it is sad to see what is happening.

Pros

I made some great friends at OneSpace, and some of the perks are nice...

Cons

The perks mentioned above are not really "perks." OneSpace is trying to justify not paying their employees fairly, not giving cost of living raises, and not offering basic compensation like 401k matching by saying that a stocked kitchen and bar are part of your compensation. Perks are not compensation. I can't pay my bills with a bar I rarely use or the parties that are a waste of money. The company has a solid idea but has no clear direction and no real leadership. They just keep saying "well, let's try this" without fully following through on previous attempts. The companies under the Juggle umbrella have never been profitable (in over 10 years) and are losing the faith of their clients and employees very quickly. There is a group of untouchable employees who are "golden children" and many of the VPs are best friends with the CEO and COO. This kind of incestuous relationship is toxic to a company and extremely unprofessional. There are no opportunities for advancement or higher pay, no matter how much they say otherwise, and promises are almost never kept. You are expected to work well over 40-hours with zero ROI. They require weekend work, they offer zero work/life balance, and they do not pay you or promote you for you dedication.
