Supportive Immediate Supervisors: Direct supervisors were initially appreciative of my overtime efforts and dedication. Opportunity to Gain Experience: Gained hands-on experience in a demanding helpdesk environment.

No Remote Work Flexibility for Contractors: Despite the role being fully remote-capable, contractors were arbitrarily denied the option—while others in similar positions were allowed to work remotely. Broken Promises of Employment: I was verbally promised a transition to a full-time position, which was later retracted due to vague reasons like “consistency” and minor punctuality issues. Work Ethic Undermined: Despite overtime and high ticket closure rates, my work was questioned due to metrics like entry time, which felt unfair and demotivating. Lack of Appreciation for Extra Effort: Voluntary overtime was overlooked in favor of rigid time logs.
