Unfortunately, the writing is on the wall. This company is imploding. It's another inevitable startup death agonizingly drawn out. They're now going through the second round of layoffs since June, when they were hiring as recently as May. Just goes to show the quality of the decision making occurring here. The June layoffs were supposed to be the final round, but given that sales are coming in far below the expectations that assessment was predicated upon, Onna is where it is now. This is a clear sign of an irreversible death spiral. The problem with Onna is an unfixable one. It's a good solution, but the problem the solution solved was never clearly identified. They basically stumbled onto eDiscovery, a niche and saturated market. This is never a recipe for success, and is a failure new employees and re-orgs can't solve. If for some reason you are offered a position at Onna you'd be wise not to accept it as it will be ephemeral. Don't count on the paltry equity they offer being worth anything.
