Pros

- Friendly workplace culture. - Healthy work-life balance with flexible hours, PTO, flex Fridays, and remote work options. - Competitive-ish compensation package. - Management encourages employees to express their career interests.

Cons

- No clear path for career progression. - Inexperienced leadership team, leading to a lack of alignment and discomfort during meetings. - Instances of leaders in the C-suite talking down to each other's teams, creating a negative atmosphere and undermining efforts. - People are talking...and there is CLEAR PAY DISPARITY among titles, responsibilities, gender, and RACE within the organization. - After laying off 10% of the workforce, the organization promoted three employees to VP positions within months. Seems pretty unnecessary since they don't operate as VPs. - Lack of vision for product development and branding strategies, we need outside counsel...that's a red flag. We clearly don't know what we are doing...short-term...long-term....at all. - The creative output falls short, appealing only to a narrow niche market that may have been relevant in the company's early stages. Rollouts and sneak peeks generate little excitement, a very underwhelming response. - Recent promotions to the C-suite are leading to a decline in organizational culture.

Thank you for acknowledging our positive work-life culture and for sharing your concerns. We take feedback seriously as it is crucial for our growth and improvement. We are dedicated to maintaining a positive, empowering, and equitable place to work. Any instance of disrespect among team members is unacceptable and against our core values. We take steps to address any such behavior directly and to reinforce a culture of mutual respect and collaboration. We take allegations of pay disparity very seriously. In addition to internal review processes, we engage a third-party consultant to audit our compensation, hiring, and promoting practices. These audits have confirmed that our pay practices are equitable and in line with our commitment to fairness, irrespective of title, gender, or race. We will continue to monitor and adjust our compensation strategies to ensure they remain fair and competitive. No workforce decision is taken lightly and all organizational changes support our strategic direction. We value promoting from within and remain committed to developing talented and hard-working team members. We acknowledge that there’s always room for improvement and are creating leadership development programs to ensure our leaders are equipped to foster a positive and aligned workplace. We also understand the importance of clear career paths and continue to develop more structured career progression frameworks to better guide our team members. We are also committed to broadening our creative direction and appeal, ensuring our products resonate with a wider audience and better meet the expectations of our diverse customer base. Pros

Honestly? None. It makes me very sad to say.

Cons

They’re hiring a ton of roles right now and that is not a good thing. This company does not value its employees one bit. They put on a show in interviews. They didn’t trust people in their expertise so we all left, and now they’re stuck with leaders who candidly have no clue what they’re doing and are likely going to put high and unrealistic expectations on anyone they hire. The level of toxicity at this company is unmatched. I’ve worked at some of the top ecommerce companies out there and have wished them each the best as I’ve moved on, but ONNIT genuinely is so awful. You will regret working there in the first 2-4 months. Stay as far away as possible no matter what BS they try to sell you about turning the company around. The people left there are in way over their head and are desparate. RUN AWAY.
