Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take such concerns very seriously and would like to address them directly. Unlike many places, we conduct bi-annual reviews for all positions, including HR, and we actively act on the feedback received. We have an open-door policy and 360-degree feedback system, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and care for employees in all roles, which is not the norm in most companies. Regarding your comments about micromanagement and a toxic environment, it’s important to note that no management can publicly share all concerns raised against any person or role. This does not mean we automatically believe any allegations without due diligence. The fact that we have a transparent process for feedback and an open-door policy shows our dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. We stand by our commitment to continuous improvement and are always open to hearing and addressing concerns.

Pros

Working here as a software engineer is incredibly fulfilling. The company has a highly organized structure, ensuring clear processes and communication. The projects are both challenging and innovative, such as integrating Stripe payments with Laravel using webhooks. I’ve gained more knowledge in a few days here than I did in years at other companies. The team is extremely supportive, and there’s a strong focus on career development.

Cons

Although some policies and practices might initially seem less than ideal, I appreciate that the company values employee feedback. From managers to HR to the CEO, they are open to listening and making changes when necessary.
