Pros

Working for Open Homes has been a pleasant surprise. I’ve never worked for a company who cared so much about their employees. This is a small business, but they know how to treat their employees right. They’re flexible and understand when you need time off. Management makes an effort to check in on you and see how you’re doing. Employees are always given the opportunity to contribute their ideas and voice their opinions. I also believe there’s always opportunity for growth within the company and management is always open to making sure your position is the right fit for you and for them. Plus, full time employees are fully remote!

Cons

If you work better with face-to-face interaction this company may not be for you, it is work from home. Additionally, it is a small business so they are still growing and figuring things out in reference to HR related things. But they’ve been doing a great job with what they have!

We say it often, and we mean it – we wouldn't be anywhere without our internal team and our Visual Artists. We 100% agree that working remotely has its advantages and disadvantages. It's an awesome opportunity for those who enjoy the flexibility, but as you said, those who thrive on face-to-face interactions may find it challenging. We also hope that as we continue to grow, we can iron out any remaining kinks and make Open Homes an even better place to work.

Pros

Open Homes is fantastic! I've been a professional in this industry for over 6 years, have seen a wide range of teams, and there's no other like this company. Everyone here is supportive, communicative, and motivated towards the same goals in making awesome content and serving our clients. The culture here is happy, mature, and focused, and it's great to see that so many of the other employees have been here for many years and have nothing but great things to say. The work is fulfilling and our clientele is awesome to work with. I feel supported and heard here.

Cons

It's hard to come up with cons when comparing to past experiences - some days in field can be quite long but that's to be expected when working with top clients

Internal positions are fully remote, and the team supports flexible schedules to promote work-life balance. There’s a strong focus on client experience, with ongoing efforts to improve processes and deliver better service.

Cons

The internal team is small, which makes it challenging when juggling multiple tasks. Communication can be difficult—especially in remote roles, where collaboration takes more effort. Management oversees several departments, so it's understandably hard for them to dedicate focused time to just one.
