Pros

The pros to working with this organization was the ability to support active duty and reserve military members and their families.

Cons

There was excessive micromanagement. Supervisor was envious of my academic credentials. Although I worked from home and was very dependable, supervisor constantly texted and sent email messages requesting my minute-by-minute work activities. Lastly, I wasn't allowed to use any of may leadership skills.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree that one of the best aspects of the work we do is the satisfaction that comes from being able to serve America’s military families, and knowing we are helping them become stronger, more stable, and more secure so they can thrive, not simply get by, in the communities they worked so hard to protect. I know those that work remotely experience different challenges from those at our headquarters, but no matter where one works, we seek to foster an environment where our team members feel supported and valued. I will pass along your feedback to those entrusted to lead our regional teams.
