I wholeheartedly agree our staff is dedicated to our important work and am very proud of what we are able to accomplish, by working together with our board/advisory councils, volunteers and individual/corporate/foundation donors, to make a real difference for the military families we seek to serve. As you note, we have a big mission and need a highly talented staff to deliver on our promise. To this end, our HR team regularly examines a variety of factors that include experience, education, and location with the goal of ensuring the compensation we offer (salaries, health benefits, PTO, 401k match, and professional development) remains competitive with industry standards.
