Pros

If you are smart enough to read, can follow directions and smile while you talk to people over the phone, this company loves their employees like family and proves it. Paid time off (LOTS), bonus, etc. Everyone helps each other personally and professionally. Even though some people believe they are "GREAT" doesn't mean they will be a good fit. Our standards are higher then most call centers but even so OptiCall is willing to work with people who can and want to learn. In fact, the running joke with the office and remote staff is "You have to kill someone for the Boss to fire you ."

Cons

Just like any office (or family) everyone does not get along all the time, no office is perfect (BIG SURPRISE). Unfortunately, any employee of the company need to have the necessary skills to keep up with the 150 practices and 50-80 calls (per employee). It's also required but not easy to be pleasant and helpful at ALL times to the patients and our offices. This job is not for everyone.

Pros

Your schedule changes rarely. The pay is decent for a starting position. You get all major holidays off.

Cons

Too many calls for not enough . There is zero room for advancement. The trainer has zero professionalism. She came on camera talking about her pierced private parts while in her bra. (Not joking or exaggerating). There is no way to really keep track of your hours or pay. You have to do it by hand. Their payroll system is a mess. I was very unsatisfied with my position here.
