Pros

The talent at this company was top notch. Technology and ideas were progressive. The pay is great. Culture prior to the merger was best I have ever worked in. Work/life balance was respected in my department. There were no paranoia about those working from home. The staff was very high performing so it did not matter where the work was done. The CEO of Fishnet was one of the most integral people I have ever known. He was who he was all the time. That leadership change impacted the culture very quickly.

Cons

No forethought into managing culture differences prior to the merge. The focus was on getting the technologies integrated and the human capital piece was not attended to. There was constant "speak" of how similar the cultures were but they were anything but. HR along with the rest of the executive team should have had this as a priority. Communication was poor, redundancy was not handled well as far as who kept their job. Morale sunk horribly. It felt very much like an acquisition instead of a merger. As a result of not minding the gap.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
