Pros

Unknown - I seriously can't think of anything good to say about them at this point.

Cons

The failed merger of Accuvant and FishNet was more of a hostile takeover resulting in the termination of all quality FishNet leadership as the culmination of an unhealthy grudge match. This left behind only brown-nosing yes-men that pandered to Accuvant leadership and squeezed the life out of the consulting practices. The merger is a continuation of a grudge-match between the two companies that formed Optiv and the incessant bad choices and loss of quality talent will likely result in poor service quality to customers and the eventual demise of Optiv. All departments are in complete disarray and the current leadership is totally clueless. At this point, the company is completely upside down. Don't waste your time on Optiv anytime soon. If it ever recovers, it will be years from now, if ever. From the looks of things, it would be a complete surprise if massive lay-offs are not in the works. Recently, they gutted benefits and they keep messing with the compensation plans. They are driving consultants away in an attempt to make short-term numbers and GP look good. What is worse, the executive services leadership lacks experience and vision. They have no idea how to run a services organization or retain quality talent.

Pros

Unlimited PTO Supportive Management Depending on who you get Good work life balance as long as you don't take the job with you after hours Work from Home Hands on Training - could still use improvement Annual pay increase

Cons

2 layoffs in a year when they keps saying everything was fine.... Laying off core contributors so now everyone who is left is doing the work of 2-3 people and not being compensated accordingly Only way to get a worth while pay increase is to move up in the company the annual increases are not inline with inflation or cost of living
