Pros
The following are less of pros and more of good things about Orange. 1.The diagnostic service offered by Orange is among the best in the country, thanks to the dedicated efforts of its hardworking ground staff. 2.The founders (only the founders) have a clear vision and set clear expectations from the beginning. 3.A small percentage of leaders (around 2%) are incredibly supportive and understanding, allowing for autonomy and providing uplifting support. 4.Working in a startup like Orange offers unique learning opportunities that may not be available in a multinational corporation.
Cons
Orange is a perfect example of the glorified Indian startup ecosystem. Orange exemplifies the Indian startup scene, but not in a good way: 1.No perks. 2.Average salary. 3.Long working hours. 4.Lack of structure and deep problem-solving; reliance on temporary fixes. 5.Below-average or no salary hikes despite extra effort. 6.No year-end bonuses or employee appreciation. 7.On-ground workers face the worst treatment, leading to high turnover. This is just the tip of the iceberg. One of most important department of the company is grossly incompetent. People at Orange will know. Don't trust Glassdoor reviews; they're likely manipulated. While the company was promising in its early stages, it's currently in a dismal state.
