Pros

OrgSync has some of the brightest development minds and everyone in the company is top tier talent in their field, there are no weak links. The team has grown from a garage to a much larger company but maintains the start-up family feel as well as the spirit of working hard to get a job done. There is an intense commitment to customer happiness and doing good work.

Cons

The only con to working at OrgSync is being located at 635, the worst highway in the world.

Pros

OrgSync is a large name delivered by a relatively small crew. All teams, including management, are success-driven and transparent. The development team is top-notch and actively contributes to the coding community in Dallas and beyond. There are few bottlenecks in the organization - time is spent accomplishing with peers. OrgSync's success as a startup and continued growth can largely be attributed to it's culture of taking internal and external feedback quite seriously, which shows in both the product and in the work environment they provide.

Cons

Work is required. Higher Ed market is cyclical and administrators within are at times hard to work with. If you are allergic to dogs, you may not have a good time. You sometimes have to brew your own coffee. Snacks are provided always, catered lunch from time to time - you might gain weight. However there is a gym in-house, so you can make things right. Don't go overboard, though, people are trying to work. Work and listen to their favorite songs. At a respectable volume. On their sleek, company-provided Mac machines.

Pros

I was able to develop and maintain key relationships with members of my team and other teams within the company that have sustained since I left OrgSync. I did learn a lot about the sales cycle and how to continually engage prospects, even when there is little to no movement on the account.

Cons

Unfortunately, the problems with the company stem from the leadership of the company. In fact, the CEO and CFO, who recently were let go, were not the culprits. There is a documented history of leadership saying one thing and doing another which led to dissension amongst the departments within the company. The easiest way to equate the tension is to that of an abusive relationship. There is little to no professional development, and any sales training is consistently bounced back to those who either have no sales experience (yet are tasked with leading sales), or to those who have a history of overselling and creating unhappy customers. I will attest that everything is said in previous reviews (that are not steller about OrgSync) is accurate. I was cautioned when I joined to "keep my eyes and ears open" and I never truly felt comfortable there.
