Pros
I have been working at Oribi for the past 9 months. It's been mostly really really good.
1. The people are great. They are smart, true professionals, and fun to work with. There is no place without ego, but it seems Oribi developed a way/sense to distill those who are led by logic and not ego. Part of it is probably because of the diversity in Oribi.
2. I get the freedom to develop and 'dream' my role. I feel this is something that defines Oribi. If you have a vision, management is open to hearing and giving you room to fulfill it. It sometimes almost feels like you are an EIR.
3. The product and market are extremely interesting. A lot has been done, but there is still a lot of room to make an impact.
4. Professional development - Oribi is super open to helping you develop your skills and knowledge.
5. Hybrid work - you can work from home 3 days a week, and even that is not set in stone.
Cons
Internal communication can get intense sometimes. But you can create your own processes that make communication more effective.
