We understand having your salary cut can be a painful financial experience but we believe that our decision for everyone to share in the sacrifice together was and is the best long term decision for the company. These are unprecedented times and we value everyone on our team so letting people go was a last resort we did not want to entertain. We are fortunate that we had a strong cash position going into the pandemic and this allowed us to honor our new hires in March and April, and it will be used to weather this period of instability, as well as fuel our growth. Despite having a company-wide meeting where we covered this decision and our finances, your review tells us that we could have done a better job of communicating the need for the cuts. We know and appreciate that our employees like you are working hard each day to ensure the company grows during this time, and have communicated a plan to reinstate salaries.
