Pros

The members are very kind and understanding Lots of opportunities for networking Good Hours/ Tips during Winter Months Employee Meals Golf Privileges

Cons

Viewed as a servant or a “pawn” by individuals in higher positions. Lack of employee appreciation Lack of Communication and Team work Lack of Professionalism No compensation/gratuity for working large events on Mondays when the Country Club is closed.( Ex. $12 dollars in tips for a 10 hour shift) Outdated/Poor Equipment( Ex. Picker is constantly broken, Ball washer is slow and jams constantly, Ice Machine is located across the club and is sometimes not accessible) Harsh Criticism from Co-workers who work in the Pro Shop Excessive amounts of conflict between employees within the club.
