Pros

Great team (not management) but clinicians , so friendly. Building is also a lovely set up for clients

Cons

I would not recommend working at Orri. Company has based a lot of things on favouritism in terms of staff members, especially if your friends with management or have previously worked with them they seem to get away with a lot. You are not entitled to sick pay until after your 6 month probation. The annual leave advertised is not correct and false advertising. It states 33 days, HOWEVER, if you work a 40 hour week 4 days a week, its 26.5 including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown. So in reality your left with 2 weeks… 30 minute unpaid break for a 10 hour day. Its ridiculous you have EDA’s overworked taking breaks at 5pm in the afternoon. Complete micromanagement in terms of finishing times. Your not allowed to leave early even if your work is done. Limited flexibility for WFH for majority of staff unless again your a favourite or have been there a while. They often do things without consulting staff members before, for example setting up services and not even asking staff if they are ok with being a part of it. Please think before you apply for any role here. Staff turnover is high which is a shame because they hire incredible and experienced staff! There is no management in the building if your on a late finish, which is unheard of for most companies. So essentially clinicians are running things. Providing feedback does not get recieved well from management. If your not liked , expect to be asked to leave. Its happened to staff since ive been there.

Pros

Excellent understanding of eating disorders, compassionate and empathetic service when it comes to the clients, nice building and location to work in.

Cons

Workload and capacity is a huge concern. Expectation to just take on more and more clinical load. Zero awareness of individual clinician capacity - clients just admitted and expected to make it work. Clients with an inappropriate level of risk admitted too. Different standards and expectations for different team members particularly those related to management. Sick pay and annual leave is the worst I’ve ever come across - this on top of high work load is a one way street to burnout & many team members presented with this whilst I was there. Team morale low as a result. Cannot emphasise enough how stretched the team was - would not recommend anyone I care about to work here.
