Bad management decisions leading to lay offs

- Opportunity. Good career development and financial upside at being on the ground floor of a small company - Flexible work environment. My supervisor understands that I have a life and works with me when I need to be out of the office. The company policies reinforce a good work:life balance. - Neat product. This company will redefine the orthodontic industry. I love being part of something new and different that turns heads. The company really encourages a creative environment. - Leadership. Very nimble, quick to adjust goals and everyone seems to work well as a team across departments and job levels. I have been involved in a couple of projects where I saw this first hand. It is very encouraging.

- Small company. Office politics seems to be magnified because of the size. Not a big deal, just distracting. - Grumbling co-workers. There seem to be a few vocal complainers. There is a lot of work to be done. If people focused on doing the job rather than complaining, it would make for a happier workplace for everyone. Leadership. What is positive can also be negative. There has been lots of change in the senior team lately, and that makes people nervous. But they seem to be very aligned and working well together.
