Pros

Orum is a truly fantastic company to work for. We're trying to solve an incredibly ambitious problem by leveraging machine learning and cutting-edge technology to create a frictionless, money movement ecosystem. It's a true billion dollar idea, and we have a growing team full of really talented individuals that's going to get us there. In my opinion, Stephany raises the bar for what a modern day CEO should be. She and the leadership team are very transparent on what's going on at the company along with both our failures and successes. She's extremely approachable, and her energy is infectious. As an employee, she makes you feel important and well taken care of. In my opinion, we've done a really great job of avoiding the stigmas of smaller stage startups. Our leadership team is well traveled, and understands how to build a company thoughtfully. We have a really competitive benefits package, plus a lot of flexibility around working hours and PTO. You're treated like an adult here.

Cons

As of this review, we're still a young company with a small but growing team. We deal with a lot of ambiguous problems that force us to get out of our comfort zones, roll up our sleeves, and get scrappy. If you're looking for just a "job" where you can coast and hide in a corner (so to speak), then you'll want to look elsewhere. Also, we're a fully remote company with no full-time, physical office space. While we offer a WeWork stipend and provide opportunities to physically meet up with teammates, it's not a hybrid-remote set up. If it's important for you to be in an office several days a week, surrounded by co-workers, you probably won't be happy here.
