Pros

Good people, nice office, L&D team were great when they were there, location is good, 1pm finish on a Friday

Cons

If you aren’t a Consultant (i.e. people team, operations team, marketing team) you are ignored and referred to as a ‘cost’. The same to be said if you fail to hit target as a Consultant There has recently been mass redundancies (all female staff) leaving no training, culture, support, HR or talent acquisition. None of these areas are important to leadership and nothing was communicated to the remaining staff, who are left confused Despite redundancies and cost cutting, leadership have bragged about how much money they have & despite concerns being raised, Leadership wont take any feedback or suggestions from anyone Zero incentives and false promises. The summer trip target was too high on purpose and then was cancelled so those who did hit the target could no longer go. Winter trip cancelled. This goes for achievers meals, office incentives etc. Leadership lie about rewards to try to boost performance and then don't deliver Favouritism, only spoken to or looked at when you bill, if you don’t, you’re pushed out, not helped or given a chance The culture is TOXIC and it starts with Leadership. The arrogant ‘everyone is happy’ and ‘they need us more than we need them attitude’ is unbelievable For a recruitment company, it has no perks, no people team, no L&D, no trips, no meals, just toxic leader

Pros

Useful training program and intro into the recruitment industry and supportive teammates

Cons

We all know recruitment is a challenging industry (“champagne and razor blades”), but the culture here makes it significantly harder to succeed. The leadership frequently talks about accountability and avoiding perfectionism, but in practice expectations feel unrealistic and mistakes are heavily scrutinized. The environment is highly micromanaged, which makes it difficult for recruiters to develop their own approach or feel trusted in their role. Support and expectations are also inconsistent. Some teams receive more resources and guidance, while others are expected to achieve similar results without the same level of support. Feedback tends to focus on not doing enough rather than recognizing the work being put in, which became discouraging
