- Like any sales role, if you're underperforming, you will be under pressure and eventually let go if performance doesn't improve
- The post-covid tech market boomed like nothing I've seen before. Junior recruiters who joined around this time were not necessarily set up for success in a "normal" market yet like most sales businesses, it took a while for monthly targets to reflect a more normalized market
- As the business experienced exponential growth, processes, procedures and structure had to mature - which does take time and was great when I left
- Social events could go into the early hours which isn't for everyone - especially me! Although I was never pressurized into staying out late or lambasted for not having done so!
