Pros
Useful training program and intro into the recruitment industry and supportive teammates
Cons
We all know recruitment is a challenging industry (“champagne and razor blades”), but the culture here makes it significantly harder to succeed.
The leadership frequently talks about accountability and avoiding perfectionism, but in practice expectations feel unrealistic and mistakes are heavily scrutinized. The environment is highly micromanaged, which makes it difficult for recruiters to develop their own approach or feel trusted in their role.
Support and expectations are also inconsistent. Some teams receive more resources and guidance, while others are expected to achieve similar results without the same level of support. Feedback tends to focus on not doing enough rather than recognizing the work being put in, which became discouraging
