Pros

NONE. They trick you into thinking that you will be working in marketing and on the track to be a campaign director when in reality, you are standing in the streets begging for money.

Cons

Where do I start? First off, they tell you that you will be a campaign director in less than a year even though I never had prior experience. (Sketchy to begin with, but my ears were interested). Then, they tell you that you will work these on-site marketing 'events'. (Sounds like something I am so interested. It was all a LIE. These 'events' are you standing on the streets of NYC begging for people to donate money to the humane society or other organizations. You are on your feet from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Monday - Saturday. The pay is all dependent on how much money you get people to donate (which is very little). There is no address for a real office on their website because they don't have one!!! I was scammed into working for them and I quite as soon as possible. If they had told me from the START what I would ACTUALLY be doing, I would have never took the job. They never tell you that you are working in sales, rather they false advertise this idea of marketing events.

Pros

This company is a better place to start in marketing than many others. You'll be given good training, a lot of encouragement, and the opportunity to demonstrate your drive. When you show you're willing to do whatever it takes, they will promote you within a month, and eventually within a year. But you'll need a lot of energy and determination. Although it's a competitive environment, the owner is a nice person, so it seems more energizing than cut-throat.

Cons

You should be healthy, strong, and extroverted to succeed in this type of position. If you have an extensive resume, skills, and a degree, it might not be a good fit.
