Pros

* Payment is (generally) on time. * You'll never have issues hitting your daily step goal. * The concept of Hell will no longer frighten you.

Cons

Your employment here will begin with a lie. Despite applying, interviewing, and being HIRED as a Server, you'll be told everybody starts as a Server Support. This is a "temporary" position, which, after the completion of two menu tests (of the entire food and drinks menu by ingredient), they say you'll be promoted. You will not. Instead, you'll be handling the responsibilities of every server simultaneously: pouring, plating, restocking, and running every single item that could be delivered to a customer. Because the position is so grueling, poorly paid (~$12 an hour, counting tips), and disrespected, the turnover rate is massive. And the catch? There is no promotion. You're there until you quit and they find another mark. You're better off selling blood. And I'm not kidding. OTHER CONS FROM MY TENURE: * Wage theft is rampant. Due to stringent clock-in restrictions, you'll often need to find a manager to adjust your time. Often, they'll quietly push this back. One day, I later found I'd worked 35 minutes for free. * Because Servers are scored via surveys each week, a low customer rating will have you demoted back to Server Support indeterminately. This is the carrot and stick. Play the game, or you'll lose your dignity—and 2/3 of your pay. * Staff frequently mocks the semi-verbal dishwasher who, despite his cognitive difficulties, is an incredibly hard worker. To be clear, this is not a kind environment.

Pros

The store level can be a really rewarding experience, I come to work and genuinely enjoy my job and coworkers.

Cons

Hovering corporate can be a headache. You don't have a say on which location you are sent to after training just a consideration of your location and commute. The bonus system is lacking with metrics that are hard to obtain and only quarterly. Raises are hardly cost of living wages and seniority isnt rewarded as new managers typically come in making as much if not more than senior managers.
