Pros

you can make some decent money if you are a good server or a bartender. takeaway is easy for the most part.

Cons

I worked at several different locations and I experienced sexual harassment or assault at every single one to the point that it was just normal. I also had several managers that were involved with employees or individuals that had worked their while they were a minor but were now over 18 and still an employee. They have no problem hiring terrible and disgusting managers. They also do not follow the US labor laws. On several occasions I was forced to work without a break and they would go back into my time sheet and edit to say I took one. They also forced sick people to work during COVID and we had to lie to customers when they asked if everyone was healthy. But unfortunately, this is the reality with many minimum wage jobs in the US.

Pros

The store level can be a really rewarding experience, I come to work and genuinely enjoy my job and coworkers.

Cons

Hovering corporate can be a headache. You don't have a say on which location you are sent to after training just a consideration of your location and commute. The bonus system is lacking with metrics that are hard to obtain and only quarterly. Raises are hardly cost of living wages and seniority isnt rewarded as new managers typically come in making as much if not more than senior managers.
