The leaders could lead better by being human and kind Work harder is the motto, and it keeps productivity pretty low Not a very diverse development team, and it doesn’t try to be Blame culture, no accountability No raises, even though they hired for tons of high salary positions There’s a lot of unnecessary political discussion, and debating of scientific facts Very disorganized team

We are constantly attempting to improve our benefit offering to employees while controlling costs and are happy to be able to subsidize over 80% of employee only medical, dental, and vision premiums and offer a wellbeing package as well as short- and long-term disability free of charge to our employees, in addition to other benefits. We have made several recent changes related to your feedback and are making additional investments to enhance our development, IT, QA, and product teams. For open positions, we consistently look for the most qualified candidates who will help the Company achieve its mission is to ensure every question is answered accurately, and every problem is solved completely. Any behavior contrary to helping the team collectively achieve that mission, such as unproductive political discussions, is forbidden. Any complaints or grievances that have been brought to our HR department’s attention have been addressed (and will continue to be addressed) swiftly. We always have and always will continue to hold the highest level of respect for our employees who are the foundation of Boomtown. We constantly review national and regional benchmarks to ensure compensation levels are appropriate for each role’s set of responsibilities and reward employees with merit-based compensation increases when we are able. Pros

Great job to start and get your foot in the door for technical support job Learn about some networking and you learn troubleshooting steps. Also, learn how to use a ticketing system. You work remotely which is a plus.

Cons

No set level of expectations. There are favorites. People can do what they want at the expense of their other coworkers. Nothing is done to people that have multiple offenses. They are not able to reward employee that actually do a great job and reward people who don't care to be there just want the paycheck. They also base their metrics on quantity and not quality which end turn ends up with people having to call in multiple times and leads to frustrations with the clients.
