Pros

The majority of your experience will be gained through hands on experience. Compensation is fair, and annual reviews occur on a regular basis. The people at Overdrive are one of a kind, and they care about each other, the work they are doing, and the clients they work with. The entire agency is comprised of smart compassionate people who are trying to make a difference. Overdrive Interactive is the definition of a team environment. Everyone from senior leadership down is ready and willing to lend a hand whenever needed. Client relationships are long term with very little project-based work. This allows Overdrive to partner with clients and help grow. Leadership always has an open-door policy and is always willing to listen to different opinions. Everyone's opinion, regardless of tenure, is treated like an equal and their POVs are always valued. Overdrive Leadership really cares about their employees. They take an interest in their employees inside and outside the office trying to ensure a healthy work-life balance. Strong camaraderie with coworkers allowing for a work hard play hard environment. People are rarely working on deliverables alone - many hands make light work.

Cons

Typical Agency work structure. While the agency does not operate with a typical 9-5 schedule, but a work-life balance is encouraged. Overdrive has been going through a transitional stage and there have been some bumps along the way.

Pros

- nice office - lot of good people at the associate and mid levels

Cons

Abysmal leadership and senior management that takes little accountability for issues throughout the agency. Agency struggles to generate new business while having lost big clients along the way. Therefore, more pressure is placed on media teams to bend over backwards for current client base regardless of bandwidth, leading to burnout and tension.
