Pros

1) Flexible, work-from-home option (benefit that predates Covid). 2) Great benefits 3) Ample resources to do work at home 4) Friendly staff (with caveats listed in Cons)

Cons

1) Bad management and decision making in product and engineering. 2) Software is a mismanaged mess and a bottleneck to continued product development. 3) Culture is described by founders as empathetic; however I would more accurately describe it as giggly, immature, effeminate, and drinking the Kool-Aid. Not everyone behaves this way but enough to cringe. 4) Founders are averse to differing opinions, which has led to an inner circle of submissive management with limited thinking. 5) Company hides important investment and valuation numbers (such as total number of shares, yearly net profit, company valuation) that employees need to assess risk/reward when using their own money to exercise stock options. Instead we need to blindly hope for the stock part of our compensation.

Pros

- Decent pay - Good base/commission split - Cheap benefits - Unlimited PTO - Remote

Cons

- Felt very secluded as a remote employee. - Lots of benefits for in office employees (weekly free lunches and snacks brough in, among other things) but none for remote employees. - Very little support from direct or senior management (I was given aggressive sales goals with absolutely $0 marketing funds for any partner activities what so ever, training was fully self guided, any time I asked I questions I was told to look through the plethora of programs and lengthy documents instead of actually receiving guidance, then new and asking about how to go about a job task I was told my my direct manager "you know what to do so just do it" with no additional guidance). - I was given a surprise $20K+ salary and large commission cut from what was initially discussed when I received my offer, and was told nothing could be done about it then, but It would be made right during raises. I then was told all salaries had been frozen then raises came around). - Company seemed unstable while I was there.
