Great company - Academic Assistant Oxford Prospects Programme Employee Review

Pretty unique job to have, give a good deal of independence. Great if you have a bit of confidence and are a solid organiser/communicator. Once you are in the flow and understand your role, its genuinely fun work. Interesting people to work with and, if you're good at it, can hoover up lots of hours and have some great experiences. Much smaller operation than big providers like Oxford Summer Courses, but also much more institutional memory/knowledge so the organisation and final product has learned from iterations and is so much better than others (which offsets the lesser pay imo)

Some people had hit and miss relationships with head office culture etc, or were unlucky with having fewer hours than others, given the hourly rate isn't amazing. Internal politics can get a bit feisty too as its quite intense when things go wrong.
