Pros
- Established firm that has a number of market-leading propositions, client relationships and sector knowledge - Jacobs acquisition will bolster global presence, digital & data capabilities, and public sector/infrastructure sectors - Great place to start and grow your junior career
Cons
- Currently going through some identity challenges with latest Jacobs Acquisition, especially for capabilities/sectors where this doesn't naturally align (e.g. Financial Services) - Historically employee owned (since early 1990s) to give employees motivation to deliver great results. This model doesn't exist anymore and no clear answer as to what the future of this will be - Lower than market rate on salaries. Corporate have said they benchmark, but not by sector or capability, especially for more strategic offerings in Financial Services. Recently couldn't hire Principal levels in this space as the salary band wasn't good enough, for example.
