Pros

It's a job when you need a job. It's dog-friendly.

Cons

Someone in a C-level position is known in SD for harassing women. Mansplaining, sexual harassing, underpaying, and straight up questioning women for expressing their professional opinion, is something he does for many years. It is against the website policy to name individuals, but if you are looking to work for a company that devalues women, look no further. You will find the right boss here. I do not comprehend how this still happens today, post #metoo movement.

PACIFIC Digital Group Response

At PACIFIC, we take sexual harassment accusations very seriously. We have a robust Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination policy paired with a complaint procedure to provide a prompt, thorough, and objective investigation to any claim of discriminatory treatment or harassment. We encourage anyone who has experienced, witnessed, or been made aware of any discrimination or harassment to report it to Human Resources, or anyone in Leadership (Supervisor, Director, VP, or C-level staff) as soon as possible. PACIFIC maintains employee confidentiality during the investigation. We also have an Anti-Retaliation Policy to protect anyone who submits a complaint. Within the first 90 days of employment at PACIFIC, all staff must review and provide written acknowledgement they understand and accept our Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination policy. They must also participate in training regarding the policy and are required to take a written test to ensure they understand the policy. And per California law, every two years all employees must attend a mandatory company-wide training and re-certification workshop delivered by an independent 3rd-party Human Resources law firm. All employees are required to provide written acknowledgement of participation and are provided a certificate indicating they were in attendance. These preventative measures are viewed as effective because, prior to this anonymous posting and going back several years, PACIFIC has received no complaints or reports of harassment or discrimination. Since these are very serious accusations, I encourage you to reach out to me directly to discuss your experience so we can investigate thoroughly and, if necessary, take action to protect current and future staff.

Pros

One of the things I love most about working at PACIFIC is the flexibility and the genuine importance the company places on family, especially when unexpected emergencies arise. The leadership team fosters a supportive environment without micromanagement, allowing us to take ownership of our work and grow professionally. I also appreciate that our voices are heard—our opinions truly matter, and that makes a huge difference in feeling valued as an employee. It’s a great place to work if you’re looking for a company that trusts and respects its team.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, processes are still evolving, which can sometimes lead to ambiguity in decision-making. However, leadership is receptive to feedback, and improvements are continuously being made.

If you're passionate about digital marketing and looking for a company that values its employees, this is the place to be. Supportive and Collaborative Culture: PACIFIC fosters a really positive and collaborative work environment. Everyone is willing to help each other out, and there's a real sense of teamwork. Management is approachable and genuinely cares about employee well-being. Opportunities for Growth: PACIFIC invests in its employees' professional development, offering opportunities for training, mentorship, and advancement. They encourage you to take on new challenges and are supportive of career growth. Interesting and Challenging Work: The work is never boring! PACIFIC works with a diverse range of clients, so you're constantly exposed to new industries and challenges. This keeps things fresh and exciting, and allows you to develop a wide range of skills. Work-Life Balance: While the work can be demanding at times (as it is in any agency environment), PACIFIC understands the importance of work-life balance. They are generally flexible with scheduling and promote a healthy work environment. [ flexible hours, remote work options, generous vacation time]. Strong Leadership: The leadership team at PACIFIC is truly exceptional. They are visionaries who are passionate about the company's success and genuinely care about their employees. Competitive Compensation and Benefits: PACIFIC offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: As with any agency, the pace can be fast and things can change quickly. This can be challenging at times, but it also keeps things dynamic and exciting. It's important to be adaptable and comfortable with a fast-paced work environment. This isn't really a "con" in my opinion, but it's something potential employees should be aware of.
