Pros

As a small company, PC Pro tends to offer a lot of flexibility when there aren't too many service tickets Work life balance is encouraged

Cons

Strong work performance is "rewarded" with more work and responsibilities. Relatively high t/o from a lack of accountability and equity

Pros

One good thing is that most of the employees are rather quiet but quite friendly.

Cons

Teamwork is discouraged here. The CEO will not allow sufficient time for any real hands-on training or collaboration with other technicians. Most of the employees are quiet, because the CEO leads by inflicting them all with fear. No one is allowed to speak up and make suggestions on improvements from a technical or administrative perspective. It’s pretty much a dictatorship. I guess this would be okay if you were gaining valuable work experience, but the problem is, the guy’s knowledge of both business and technical aspects of running a company are rather dated. I mean, he was probably good at diagnosing computer problems in the 1980s, but things have changed since then, and he seems to be angry that he has not kept up; consequently, he takes out his frustrations with his own ignorance on his own employees. It is really rather remarkable to be in a professional environment, trying to solve problems, and then have the CEO come in and re-direct everyone so they are running in circles and not actually getting work done. If you are going for a sales, marketing, or admin position, be very wary of the “president” who works upstairs. If he suddenly decides you’re not being productive enough (as if he knew what that meant) then your tenure with this firm is over. Simply save yourself the grief and work for another company that actually respects its employees and has a healthy work environment.

We welcome recommendation for improvements and are willing to look at options on improving our processes. The processes have evolved to using the Microsoft Cloud and collaboration is encouraged.. People share their views and are expected to work independently.. Working independent is not right for everyone and takes discipline and research . Our goal is for each and every employee to push each other to get better and grow professionally
