Pros

Peers on your own team are supportive. The outcome of what is manufactured makes a difference in the lives of patients.

Cons

I would advise anyone looking at employment here to reach out and get actual input. The environment at PCI is toxic. A trending theme for the past 3 years since PCI took over is to overload the work on staff and expect them to keep up. There are no tools and processes to help support growth and a minimal onboarding process. Once you settle in you will witness how leadership treats employees and live through the lack of leadership. The mentality is that employees are replaceable here and make note before you accept an offer that the manufacturing environment is 365 days year 20 hours a day. Expect to carry your phone and or work weekends and nights, burnout is real. Do your homework asking what tools other then XLS and smartsheet are enabling staff to be successful and uncover and or ask for an example of how they manage heavy workloads with their employee churn. Ask for examples on how leadership demonstrates they value employees other than an ice cream truck or a summer cookout.

Pros

• Good benefits package • Competitive pay • Helpful employees throughout the organization who are willing to provide guidance and support when needed • Flexible work environment with the ability to work both remotely and in the office while maintaining a high degree of independence.

Cons

For prospective candidates, be aware that this role involves highly specialized and complex DEA regulatory work with a steep learning curve. Training and departmental support will be very limited, so employees are often expected to learn independently and navigate challenges on their own. This is very much a "sink or swim" environment that requires a high level of self-motivation, adaptability, and resourcefulness to be successful. • Lack of leadership, direction, and departmental support. • Minimal onboarding and training, resulting in a "sink or swim" work environment. • Limited collaboration and teamwork within the department. • Uneven workload distribution and unrealistic expectations for employees to independently navigate complex processes. • Few opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth within the department.
