Pros

Some people are nice, not higher ups. They finally sacked someone who was not doing their job and getting away with everything.

Cons

Before I start my review, there has been many bad reviews of this company, and instead of addressing them HR are reporting the reviews to get removed. That alone tells you what type of company this is. Im fed up of this company. Angry. Higher ups dont know what theyre doing. They keep trying to implement change. But they dont listen to the people on the ground doing the work. So how can you make effective change? HR dont do any work. They take ages to respond to emails. Always having to chase them, everytime you go up there theyre sat around laughing. This is a clicky place. Not everyone, but I've witnessed a few people, in the labs especially, outright bully and be mean to others. We're all adults, yet this one group of girls think theyre all something. Especially on night out, they feel they control who can and cannot come. But end up cheating on their partners and the next day act like nothing happened. Thats not someone I would like as a friend. They even talk behind each other's back. Thankfully theyre starting to move on now, either maternity or just being sacked. But we can only hope this changes the environment in the labs. People working on the lab floor get different bonus shares than the managers eventhough some floor people work much harder. Some managers aren't helpful, actually hinder you. Dont put you up for promotions. This seems to be a big thing here. Progression is hard. They dont want to promote you, why do you not want a skilled workforce? One that you can keep and be proud of? Instead it's new people straight from uni, you all start somewhere. But constantly loosing good, experienced analysts because you promote your favourites doesn't work in the long run. Then youre back at square one. Training over and over. This company genuinely doesn't seem to care about it though. Brush it off as normal turn over rates. The pay here is low. There's no flexible working, or work life balance. There used to be, but the higher managers, again, spoiled it for everyone else. Now it's a blanket ban. They'll see more sick leave now though. If I have an appointment I cant work around I'll take the day sick instead. Its really demeaning and depressing having to battle and argue these people just for bog standard rights. There's no trust in employees, it's very micromanage. Easier to just not have an opinion if you work here. It feels like youre just a number and not valued.

Pros

• Good benefits package • Competitive pay • Helpful employees throughout the organization who are willing to provide guidance and support when needed • Flexible work environment with the ability to work both remotely and in the office while maintaining a high degree of independence.

Cons

For prospective candidates, be aware that this role involves highly specialized and complex DEA regulatory work with a steep learning curve. Training and departmental support will be very limited, so employees are often expected to learn independently and navigate challenges on their own. This is very much a "sink or swim" environment that requires a high level of self-motivation, adaptability, and resourcefulness to be successful. • Lack of leadership, direction, and departmental support. • Minimal onboarding and training, resulting in a "sink or swim" work environment. • Limited collaboration and teamwork within the department. • Uneven workload distribution and unrealistic expectations for employees to independently navigate complex processes. • Few opportunities for mentorship, professional development, and long-term career growth within the department.
