Cons
- PDC is a subsidiary of Brady Corporation since 2012. Brady stated that PDC would be ran as an independent company. However, Brady has micromanaged the company since acquisition.
- Brady makes poor decisions that undermined PDC’s productivity.
- Many Townhall meetings Brady mgmt would complain that PDC was a bad investment due to problems in manufacturing and getting product to customers. However, Brady had replaced all of PDC’s experienced manufacturing personnel with people inexperienced in manufacturing PDCs type of products.
- Brady is constantly laying off personnel and their responsibilities are dumped on already overwhelmed employees.
- New employees are rarely hired to work at the Valencia CA site; jobs are now usually located at Brady’s other facilities in Wisconsin, Utah, or Pennsylvania.
