Pros
I had a very positive experience volunteering in their charity shop. The team was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help new volunteers settle in. It was a great environment to build confidence and develop valuable customer service skills. During my time there, I learned how to operate the till, assist customers, sort and price donations, organise stock, and work as part of a team. I appreciated the trust and encouragement I received, which helped me learn quickly and take on new responsibilities. The work was varied and rewarding, and it was satisfying to know that every shift contributed to supporting a good cause. I would highly recommend their charity shop to anyone looking to gain retail experience, meet friendly people, or give back to the community.
